Welcome to
     Best of Falmouth
          "DOT NET"

Falmouth is a wonderful town.... full of wonderful people and wonderful shops, hotels, business and maritime services.  It is no idle boast that Falmouth is the Worlds 3rd largest Natural harbour in the world... it is also one of the most beautiful.  Little surprise it is the home of the Oyster Festival, home to rare species and to ferries and Whale watching expeditions, which explore the bay and vast network of rivers comprising the Fal estuary.

Falmouth Town has resisted "progress" which results in Mall Town mentality but welcomed the National Maritime Museum.  People come to Falmouth to savour delights in the bars and restaurants, browse the locally owned shops and enjoy the many water sports on offer in the harbour, all around the town and on the beaches.

In Falmouth you'll find locally made unique products alongside products sourced from far away islands by people known personally to the shop owner.  The character of Falmouth is very much about the people who live here and those who come to enjoy its pleasures throughout the year.

The town doesn't close down in winter... it is the heart of the major population of Cornwall... almost all the businesses function from January till December.  We live here... we are proud of Falmouth and we are sure you will love Falmouth too!
